This AlphaJet came in with a Chelton EFIS system and the Becker Nav, Com and Transponder systems installed along with the original HUD, TACAN, Doppler, UHF Comm systems and a bunch of unused Black Boxes and wiring used to support the previously decommissioned Weapons system. We meticulously removed all the weapons/Heads Up Display systems and wiring.

The AlphaJet received new Front and Rear instrument panels containing Garmin G600 Displays (front and rear), GNS530 (Front and Rear), GNS 430 (Front), Dual GTX 327's, Blue Mountain ESIS, Dual Technisonic A710 Audio Panels, and it was the first AlphaJet to get an AutoPilot. In conjunction with Arlington Jet Services' Michael Lee, we were the first to install an AutoPilot in an AlphaJet. We installed the TRUTRAK Sorcerer Autopilot system.

Not enough can be said to the amount of planning and engineering that went into both system design and interface and panel layout and fabrication . Clearance issues were a major challenge in installing panel mount radios into an instrument panel designed for instruments. After many long hours and the help of our company owned CNC machine, the panels were fabricated and ready for the crinkle coat powder coating.

Working closely with the customer, we fine tuned the system design to meet their requirements while striving to not lose any capabilities. The ship's original UHF radio was kept as a Comm 4. We installed a DMZ Sat phone interface panel to control a remote mounted Motorola 9505A Sat phone as Comm 5.
